Another day, another Guitar Hero post. Following yesterdays news of the Motorhead Track Pack being released for Guitar Hero III, now word comes from Activision in a lovely press release that four more track packs will hit this month. The Sex Pistols are returning for an encore performance with live recordings in the “Isle of Wight Track Pack”. Reliving one of the most “memorable performances” of the 2007 Isle of Wight festival, Kasabian’s master recording of“Shoot the Runner” joins 2008 headliners The Sex Pistols and Kaiser Chiefs in this “must have” pack.

Available on June 12th, the track pack also features Kaiser Chief’s “I Predict a Riot” which climbed all the way to #9 on the UK Singles Chart. The Sex Pistols, who went into the studio for the first time in 30 years to re-record “Anarchy in the U.K.” specifically for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock , round out the track pack with a live rendition of “Problems,” recorded during their 30th anniversary tour stop at Brixton Academy in London.

Here is a nice pretty list of the songs included in the Isle of Wight Track Pack with links to the videos. While the June 12th release date has been confirmed, the price has not but I assume it will cost 500 MS Points just like the Motorhead pack.

No word yet as to what the other three packs will consist of, but I you can bet the farm we will know sooner rather than later.
