The black heart of Gotham is being exposed as never before in Eidos’ Batman Arkham Asylum. The videogame developed by Rocksteady attempts to capture the look and feel of the Dark Knight movies. The following video clip is the first glimpse into the world of darkness where Gotham’s most dangerous criminals lurk, Arkham Asylum.

These shots from inside Arkham speak of the methods of attack and the gadgets that will be available to Batman within the walls of the asylum. It seems that Joker’s little helpers will be a challenge as well. The graphic detail in these screens are incredible.
Batman: Arkham Asylum looks promising on first sight. I hope the game can portray the Joker as interpreted by the late Heath Ledger. When I first heard he was cast as Batman’s arch nemesis I was skeptical to say the least. Ledger brought viewers deep into the heart of madness with his performance and took me by surprise.
