First Left 4 Dead In-Game Footage/Pics Caught At Showdown LAN 2007

Valve made a huge splash at this year’s Showdown LAN 2007 in San Jose, California by showing off Left 4 Dead to the thousands in attendance. One lucky (and albeit very smart) gamer decided to take some footage of all the in-game action.
In the video that’s embedded after the break, you can clearly see that it is indeed Left 4 Dead being played, and it looks like it’s shaping up to be a great game. The constant frantic pace of the game has you really feeling claustrophobic when a group of zombies start attacking you. Team work is said to be the key in this game, but I think it’s going to be a little tough to think about the well being of the team when you have 7 or 8 zombies attacking you from all angles.
Check out the video and also some sweet pictures of the Left 4 Dead Showdown LAN event some off-screen shots of the game as both the survivors and the infected.

The name of this event was “Showdown LAN 2007″ btw – not shadowlan. Please correct

@Matt:
I realized the mistake and corrected the information already. Thanks for the heads up though
Wow! Left 4 Dead looks absolutely stunning! I will definitely be purchasing myself a copy of this! I’ve always been a sucker for zombie games…
I’m sorry but this has to be a joke… I’m seeing very few custom textures – they’re mostly all HL2 ones! This game is looking very much like a polished mod for crying out loud.

is that a problem?? just like garry’s mod. GMod is one of the best games out there
I imagine they’ll be asking full game prices for it, so the least they could have done is try and make a ‘total conversion’.
@Roviant: You know Turtle Rock Studios isn’t done with this game yet, they were just showing it off at this LAN event. I’m sure they’ll get the graphics all nice and perty for you when the game is done
