1UP managed to get their hands on some exclusive gameplay footage for the upcoming Street Fighter IV and packed it into a special video along with some developer interviews. The video starts out basically with several members of GameVideos and 1UP chatting about their own personal Street Fighter memories (and injuries). Then it moves into some clips of an actual match between Ryu and Ken in the game, with the same people discussing their initial impressions of the game. From just the footage, it looks like simply classic Street Fighter gameplay with updated 3D graphics, as promised; and that is a very good thing in my book. The rest of the video mostly has the game developers and the 1UP guys discussing the more intricate mechanics of the game, like the “Revenge” and “Power” meters, plus their own hopes for the finished product. You can check out the 1UP Show here.
