E3 2007: First 100% In-Game Killzone 2 Image Leaked

An image of Guerilla Games’ upcoming PS3 FPS Killzone 2 has hit the net like a ton of high pixelated bricks, and holy jesus is this one image that is jaw dropping. The image comes way from a USA Today article showcasing some titles that currently don’t have a lot of buzz, but are expected to steal the E3 show going on this week.
Even though this might be a simple in-game screenshot, it really speaks volumes on the high amount of detail the PS3 is capable of. The light shining from the gun onto the enemy, as well as the very light glow coming from the eyes really speak volumes.
Yawn. I get the strangest feelings of deja vu’, like we’ve been through the “overhype the game and then it sucks” scenario before. Oh wait, that was for Killzone 1.

if this is real. game looks like shit. without fail this looks like an EARLY game for the PS2.
To the people who think this looks like shit (shut up, matt), this is actually quite a good picture. The next-gen graphic effects are subtle, and unlike when DX9 and 10 initially came to games, not poured all over. It fits with the gritty, dark vision of war they’ve tried to portray.
This isn’t coming from a fan because I hate all console First Person Shooters equally (with the exceptions of Halo [XBox] and Black [PS2], which are on different consoles and for different reasons).
wow killzone 2… Big F**kin deal, sony is hyping up this game because they have never had a FPS that was any good(with the exception of black, and timesplitters, which were on both systems but both better for xbox cause of control scheme issues)and they are desperately trying to get there stocks out of the shithole. i had a ps2, before i got a 360, and i bashed halo to no end, and went home to try and find one game i could enjoy playing after playing halo at my friends house. then i got a 360 and never talked shit about it again. Jerk off to killzone all u want but after payin $600 for the console itself, where are you gonna get the money to buy killzone and MGS4(which is a good 3rd person game)
