This week’s File-N-Forget Podcast addresses the issues surrounding the recent events concerning Fox News and Mass Effect. Shawn and Ron discuss Gamers’ Worst Enemy: Themselves. Are the recent explosions by gamers on Amazon warranted, or is there a better way to handle these things?

UPDATE: Apparently, the audio file that was posted was incorrect. The proper file should be up shortly.
UPDATE 2: The proper file is now available. We apologize for the confusion.

I enjoy the “Guess the game” portion. I say keep it.
You guys may get more traffic if you plug this on the FileFront Forums more or on the main page. I’m sure Jeff will let you plug in on the forums and Jos might let you guys plug it on the network too.
Anyway, other than the pauses that were too long (not entirely sure how you guys are editing the audio on this) the podcast was good. Keep it up!
STALKER.. some of those pauses are the way Ron speaks.. were there more than that? I had some problems with the encoding.. time to go back and check it I guess.
Yup, that was the raw audio version.. hmm
Yeah. Some of them were defiantly gaps in audio. They weren’t present in any of the other podcasts (and the music was missing this time too) so I don’t think it was just pauses in speech, but possible encoding or recording problems.
I recall you guys saying you record this in Ventrilo (or Teamspeak…can’t remember) so naturally there will be pauses that will have to be edited out later but they were defiantly longer this time.
Yup.. and we’re fixing it as we speak.. it was the wrong file.. that was the unedited audio. You may notice some differences – aside from length.
Apologies for the confusion, folks. The clean, bright, pretty version of the podcast is now available from the links above.
I blame Dread. (Regulars from our Forums will get this reference)
Hey.. now I feel left out, the unedited audio sounds like there were things in it that were…. unsavory..?
hahaha.
The best stuff always gets edited out.
