Fatal Inertia EX `Phoenix` Trailer
At least one new game will be added to the PlayStation Store next week for PS3 owners to enjoy: Fatal Inertia EX. The game has been out in Japan for some time now, but it’ll finally be out in North America this coming Thursday. A European release will follow that, but there was no indication as to how soon we can expect to see that.
EX will cost $30, making it one of the pricier games available on PSN. But it is, after all, a retooled version of a retail game. Developer Koei is promising to fix many of the control problems that the 360 version of Fatal Inertia suffered from as well as add new content — such as bringing the total number of courses up to 59.
I’ve never been a fan of Sixaxis control in almost any game that’s supported it, but if that’s your thing, you’ll find support for it.
Hopefully EX turns out to be better than the 360 game, because that thing was a complete mess. Maybe the extra development time will help iron out those issues.
