kirbyvandal Fascists Deface Kirby: Our Governments National Security

The Second Life Community was shocked today when the owner of a new Kirby store in the posh Bastiat district discovered that images of Nintendo’s lovable pink puff ball had been defaced with swastikias, hate propaganda, and a portrait of Hitler. The slogan “Kirby hates our troops” was liberally stamped all over the store.However here is the punch line… according to SLNN.com, the vandal used the account of a Washington DC Senator’s Aide to do the damage.

“When the incident took place, the intern was en route to the senator’s national office in Washington, and had a house guest. He had no intentions of sharing any account details. However, from what I’ve analyzed, his house guest utilized his account to explore Second Life, as it were,” the source continued. “Like most people starting out in SL, the staffer left a sticky note with his account information near his computer.”

Apparently the intern had been concerned about the close proximity of the shop to the new political consultation office he had set up for the Senator’s SL presence.

The (Senator’s) campaign manager responded, “In the past, the staffer and I discussed the Kirby establishment, and whether or not it would affect his location. While we both agreed it was trivial, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were notes about Kirby on or around his computer. “

The campaign manager is confident that this will not hurt the Senator’s campaign. The intern is keeping his avatar, but has changed his email address and password to his account.

With all the crack downs and new regulations for the good of National Security bordering on martial law, you would think a Senator’s Aide would have enough sense not to leave passwords to a computer that might contain sensitive, potentially damaging information for his employer on a sticky note.

    This is funny. Vandalism and Grafiti in Second life. what has the Second life world come to? All I can say is “Get a life”. This is funny but not news worthy.

    @Xboxlenny:

    Of course this is news worthy! This probably is the best news to come out today. I might actually create a second life account just to witness this vandalism myself.
