Fallout 3 Earns Three Game Critic Award Nominations

Bethesda is pleased to announced that Fallout 3 has received three nominations for the Game Critics Awards’ “The Best of E3″ 2008. Fallout 3 claimed nominations in the Best of Show, Best Console Game, and Best Role Playing Game categories.
Winners will be announced August 5, 2008. To view the competition check out the Game Critics Awards website.

LOL, this game looks absolutely horrible! Another brand Bethesda is destroying.. Oh well.
It’s pretty sad, they have taken a cherished series and stamped out a run of the mill FPS for the masses on 360.
Yeah, I agree with Bounce and Callaway. Bethesda totally butchered the Fallout series. The majority of people anxious to play it either never played the originals or are your classic Halo and CS playing 14 year olds. Just another generic shooter, but now with exploding teddy bear headshots!
This is amazing. I’ve never seen so many psychics gathered in one forum! Please tell me your secret (Bounce, Callaway, Vulture) that enables you to travel into the future and play a game that we, the poor illiterate gaming masses, haven’t yet gotten our dirty paws on.
Because, of course, you wouldn’t be proclaiming that something has been ruined or destroyed without having a chance to actually play it would you? No. I can’t imagine that. That would be ridiculous. Infantile. Idiotic. And, come on, we all know that consumers of video games – the philosopher kings of this, our Platonic electronic collecitve – never rush to rash judgments!

On the other hand, how do you know a game is going to be awesome without ever playing it. How can you justify spending $60 on something you can’t even demo?
I base my opinion on all the previews and the videos that have come out. That’s what they’re there for, aren’t they, oh mighty HryBlz3.
Who said the game is awesome? I never did. That’s the difference between me and you – I reserve my judgment until I actually play (or at least read a full review of) the game; you and your ilk are just parroting the latest FUD (and those on the other side of the coin are just parroting the hype). Everyone needs to remember we all have brains and they are powerful tools when actually used.

I apologize if I thought you thought the game was awesome. Its just generally anyone who criticizes someone who hates the game probably loves it. I just assumed you were the same.
As for my judgement, I’ve based it on the numerous previews that are out there (I’ve read at least 15, theres probably more) and the couple of new E3 videos that have been released. From whats been shown, I don’t like the way the game looks or the direction its headed in.
And by the way, the media had already judged the game to be awesome. None of them have played it (a full version anyways), so what gives them the right to declare it so? Are they part of my ilk?
…I just want to know what games Bethesda has ruined in the past…

The game is actualy reali gd iv been playing it flatout. But i have 2 admit the fps takes the game a bit 2 far, in my opinion bethesta shuld of just put a new name on the game instead of continuing the fallout series..
