Hope the game mechanic works as advertised. It's really annoying in multiplayer shooters when you're pretty much forced to funnel down a hallway, certain path, etc. because there's no other way around it. Specific to Battlefield, it was extremely annoying being stuck outside a compound cause there wasn't a bloody hole in the fenceline/wall.

Of course on the flipside... If it's overdone, such as nades being able to blast through concrete walls, it'll end up being nothing but nade spam matches and such till everything in sight is leveled into dust.

Hopefully they find a nice balance for it.

STALKER, the PC version will be a Battlefield 3 esque game. I still don't understand why some people just don't accept that Dice want to make a console game before making another PC game (of which PC will be better than the console).

Anyhow, I still cannot wait for this. As I've said before, it just looks like pure unmitigated fun. Definite sleeper hit of '08.

This is what a FPS should be like. Tanks can go through buildings, not around. Hope this works out as well as it looks it will and doesn't turn out to be a gimmick that repeats non stop thoughout gameplay.
