Faith and a .45 Trailer

Personally, I’ve been saying for awhile now that we need more Western-themed video games (and by “awhile,” I mean “since Gun came out”). Luckily, the upcoming third-person shooter, Faith and a .45 looks to add one more title to the Western genre of gaming. Granted, it’s not exactly the “Old West” in the traditional sense, but it’s got gunslinging, cowboy hats, and decrepit mining towns, so that’s good enough for me. This new trailer for the game also shows one more important element of the game: explosions, explosions, explosions.

Errm.. didn’t really look all that good, I mean, the firey explosions were horrible and a bunch of it had slightly better than WoW graphics, which for a PS3 game…. yeah..

The only bad thing I’ve heard about this game so far is the release date…in 2009. Or, at least that’s what I think it said on 1up. Hmm.

@ mchief – Graphics aren’t everything. The gameplay mechanics explained in the previews there have been suggest this game is really going for the core experience rather than making it pretty. Besides, the grittiness adds to the sense of immersion in it. I wouldn’t want it all pristine and lovely, considering I’m probably somewhere in Texas with a revolver and red dust everywhere. Wouldn’t exactly fit the bill.

Also, explosions, explosions, explosions is awesome. This game looks to be very good.

Barely better than WoW’s graphics? What kind of WoW do you play?

Wow’s graphics suck balls. If only WoW looked half as good as this game…

Natural Born Killers meets Bonnie & Clyde  , and all you can do is bitch about graphics for a game that isn’t out yet ? I’m sure it will be visually sweet on a high def TV when you actually plop it into your console. Yeeesh ! Some people, I tell ya. Never happy.
