juarez Experience the Wild West With Call of Juarez

This Week in Xbox features a newly released English translation from Ubisoft of the western shooter Call of Juarez. The game is unique in that you play from perspective of the 19 year old accused murdered and the gunman hunting him down who’s set to be judge, jury and executioner. Bar room brawls, robbing trains, bare-knuckle brawling, and old fashioned shootouts are the fare.

What caught my eye was this is also a multiplayer game. Players battle in the Wild West on horseback with bows, arrows and six shooters and the ever popular double-barrel shotgun. There are the traditional Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, and Multiplayer Deathmatch modes but you also have 17 maps, historical battles like the Gunfight at the OK Corral, and a Duel Mode for dueling infamous gunslingers to the death.

You can find screens, a trailer and more detailed information on Xbox.com. Call of Juarez for 360 hit stores June 5. (Its been around awhile in other languages) Those who aren’t 360 owners can also find the Multiplayer PC Demo of the game hosted here at Filefront.com. (We also have a DX 10 Benchmark demo for those using Vista)
