Can't really see the government, even as twisted as they were, dropping a bunch of sterile mutants into a vault. With F3 in Bethesda's hands, though, anything's possible, I suppose. Pity about the series, though. Much preferred the style of game play offered by the originals over the real time F3 will use. Game shifted from "Must Buy" to "ehhh... maybe later... if I remember" with that news alone.
