EVE Online Coming to Steam, Free Trial for All

It’s quite fortuitous that today we received word that EVE Online was coming to Steam, paired with a 21-day free trial for any Steam user – just last week, Jonathan and I were talking about checking the game out. With the game’s addition to the Steam library, there will hopefully be an influx of new gamers trying the game out, so that Jonathan and I won’t be alone in conquering the universe.
This marks the first MMO to be released through Steam, and to celebrate, there will be the aforementioned 21-day trial, as well as an offer to get $5 off your first full month.
“Launching EVE on Steam means the addition of another fantastic PC game and the introduction of MMOs on Steam,” said Jason Holtman, director of business development at Valve. “The team at [EVE developer] CCP continues to expand EVE’s universe and gameplay for the legions logging in to play each month, just as we continue to expand Steam’s consumer and developer features.”
What are the chances you’ll be checking out EVE now that it’ll be easily accessible through Steam?

i tried one of their free trials a while back, installed their premium patch and it overwrote my boot.ini file, leaving my pc in the crapper (although i did manage to fix it). but i will not be playing or spending money in anyway on this game, whether its free or not.
