Empire Arcadia Planning New York City Rally May 5.

Empire Arcadia, a grassroots group that supports the gaming community and video game culture, is planning a gamer-driven peace rally in New York City. Isaiah Triforce Johnson, founder of Empire Arcadia, said on the group’s website, “There we will protest, mourn and show how real gamers play video games peacefully and responsibly. This demonstration is to show that gamers will not take the blame of this tragic matter but we will do what we can to help put an end to terrible events like this.” If you’ve got a little free time, and you can get there, this sounds like a great way to show non-gamers what we’re all about.
