EA are the only company that use their own servers in the 360 case (another reason I’m glad I pay a small fee for Xbox live connection) in PS3s case most non Sony titles have to use their own servers so this can in the long run affect many PS3 titles but only EA titles on 360..

So Burnout Revenge is being taken down, but Burnout 3 Takedown is still up? Thats F*cked up! I mean, c’mon EA. Just say “Burnout Revenge is on the Criterion Server and we(EA) messed up.” When you log into BO:R it says Logging into EA server, not true. Well, I guess thats what we get, when ou give the almighty power to EA. Thanx

thats lame. EA are cheap anyhow by not usuing the Xbox live service or the PSN service to host their games. I think this is only a tactic to get people to buy the lastet titles from them. I hope this backfires and makes people turn away. I will now never buy an EA game. Why chance it and hear you cannot play no more.

Its too bad because they have quite a few great games. i can see this continuing. What about games like Rock band? will they stop the online play in a few years so you have to buy a new one? Some games are fun and worth the online play anytime more than the new limits EA sets.

EA get on the Xbox live bandwagon. your cut off ways will only hurt you. I say to EA “Screw you” im glad i switched to the 2K sports games

No, it isn’t. The EA announcement at http://www.ea.com/information.jsp?ncc=1 actually provides the accurate game title and platform. Your list is a misleading mess.

Only the X-Box 1 version of Fight Night Round 3 is getting the can. The PS2 and 360 versions will still have online play. imo the real surprise is Burnout Revenge as there’s no sequel that uses online play yet.

Fight night round 2 is being take down, not round 3. There isn’t even a Round 4 yet… they wouldn’t turn off Round 3 until a sequel was out.
