EA To Extend Burnout Paradise Demo

Electronic Arts has decided to appease gamers and extend the online mutiplayer portion of the Burnout Paradise PS3 and Xbox 360 demo until February 15. EA had previously indicated that it would be pulling the plug on multiplayer as of February 1 “in order to enable the best possible experience for gamers who have purchased Burnout Paradise.” This was an attempt on EA’s part to get gamers to purchase the full game I am sure, but recently an EA spokesperson stated that they will instead extend online play for another two weeks:
“As you may know, Burnout Paradise is built to provide the ultimate in freedom and discovery online and offline. The demo did a terrific job of providing players a taste of that. Seeing how the social online multiplayer gameplay is such a huge part of Burnout Paradise, we’ve decided to keep the multiplayer demo functionality on for a bit longer,” the spokesperson said.
So if you have not purchased the game yet, you now have a bit longer to decide whether or not it is something you wish to spend your hard earned cash on. If you still have not played the demo, William posted his opinions regarding the game yesterday so that may help sway you one way or the other.
