EA Sports Delivers Full-Throttle Country and Rock Soundtrack to NASCAR 08

EA Sports has announced a scorching line up of country and rock hits for NASCAR 08. Brooks and Dunn, Big and Rich vie with Velvet Revolver and Airbourne to create an adrenalized soundtrack for the diverse fans of NASCAR. Here’s the list.

Aside from some fan rumblings about there needing to be more rock and roll on the line up, this looks to be a pretty good set for the game. NASCAR® 08 is scheduled to race into stores August 26, 2007.

Ya they had to add the Redneck soundtrack. Its funny. i guess because im not a fan of Nascar, it is funny how some people get so involved in that. I see people wearing the nascar bling bling and like to follow the races. so get out your trailer and gather around the track its redneck racing. its not for me. The soundtrack just sums it up.
This game is a great idea and the soundtrack is wonderful! I LOVE Bucky Covington and his music. “Empty Handed” is a great choice for this game!
Reply to the comment about Nascar — us Americans love our sports — from golf and tennis to hockey etc. A lot of Nascar fans are as passionate about their football as they are their Nascar. Nascar used to be a southern sport, but not anymore — in fact New York City has major Nascar construction plans in the works.
On a side note, I am so excited to see Bucky Covington’s song Empty-Handed connected with the game. Bucky is a Season 5 finalist from American Idol who is one of country music’s hottest male talents. If you love southern rock or country, you will love the whole CD. Keep your eyes out for Bucky Covington — he is already on his way to being the next legend
This will be a cool game with a totally awesome soundtrack!!! I am so excited to see a song from Bucky Covington’s debut CD on it!! Bucky totally rocks and Cathy Anne got it just right…Bucky is already on his way to being a legend!! GO BUCKY GO!!!!
