Electronic Arts has announced that Eric Brown will be taking over the position of Chief Financial Officer. EA revealed that Warren Jenson was stepping down from the position earlier this week, but would be remaining through the fiscal year to train his successor. The change will be affective April 14.
Brown is returning to EA from McAfee Inc. where he served as CFO and Chief Operating Officer.
“Eric’s strong financial background, broad international experience and industry knowledge makes him a perfect fit for EA,” said CEO John Riccitiello.
“Eric is a highly-regarded CFO, and we are looking forward to having him join our team.”
Brown also has management experience from DataSage Inc. and the Haagen-Das Company before working at EA as COO. He then moved on to MicroStrategy where he served as president and CFO before McAfee.
“I am thrilled to return to EA where I can bring together my professional experience with my passion for the industry,” Brown said. “It’s a great opportunity to join EA at this pivotal time and support the company’s growth initiatives in the years ahead.”
