Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Screen

The official website for the next installment in the Harry Potter game series has launched.

Now, I know the previous installments of the game haven’t been anything other than linear runs through the storyline of the movie. However, Order of the Phoenix looks like it’s going to break that paradigm. Instead of the linear stories of the past, it incorporates an almost GTA-syle non-linear gameplay. Players will be able to wander the Hogwarts castle, replaying events from the movie as they encounter them.

It’s also going to be released on basically every platform in existence, including PS2, PS3, XBox 360, Wii, DS, GBA, PSP, and PC. Since I am a confirmed fan of Rowling’s Harry Potter novels, I have a vested interest in a Harry Potter game that is actually worth playing. Hopefully, this one will be the one.

    Hi,

Can you tell me if there are plans to bring the new Harry game out for the original xbox :?:

Have all of the HP games so far, on xbox, and I’m not about to buy a different console just to play it.

 Xbox 360 may be the newest console out, but EA Games need to consider their loyal customers who have been buying the Harry games from the beginning.

    Hello,

Do you have any idea if EA will bring the new Harry Potter game for Game Cube. If you had it for gamecube you would have a lot more money. I’m not going to buy a Wii just to get the game.
