I have to agree with Duddee.... People bash the game because there system can't run it. I hardly have a top ot the line rig anymore but I can play it on max settings without any issues (other then a 10 second stutter when the Mountain starts to come apart a few thousand feet away). The only thing that will stop me from buying warhead will be if they include the same copy protection that was in Bioshock, mass effect, and spore.

Bounce, your bashing a game and then throw in, "I'd rather play...Call of Duty 4". You sir can't tell a good game from a pile of shit. You bash the game because your system can't run it, that really a great way to make your point (You obviously have never played the game and have no intention to). YOU FAIL.

I played Crysis's single player twice through and it was still fun the second time through(The ending did piss me off tho). If they can improve the multiplayer and incorporate some of open ended ideas of Farcry, it will be another great game.

It looks as good as Crysis? Ok.. So to be able to play it on slighty less powerful systems (those that aren't equipped with 3 graphics cards) you can turn down the details to a bare minimum.. hmm.. I'd rather play a game that looks good while delivering rock solid framerates like Call of Duty 4. That game is amazingly well optimized. Sure it's not as open ended as Crysis, but it doesn't require a system from the future either.

I'll pass and I'll wait for Crytek to whine even more about piracy. It's easier than actually -trying- to make a game for everyone and not just the spoiled kids who get their high powered pc's from their parents.

“Fans of Crysis are going to enjoy more of the open-ended gameplay,"

I find that line to be a joke because where Crysis is concerned the only thing left open was the ending. The best choices for exploring in that game are, "Do I take the beach with sharks waiting for me in the water or the canyon with unclimbable walls?"

I fear Far Cry 2 will be even worse than Crysis. Consider this; It has about the same graphical level, it's about thirty times larger, and features dynamic particles. I run Crysis on max, but i think i might need to upgrade even further to play Far Cry 2 on medium.

Nah, hate to be a prude, but this outfit already ruined my appetite when they released crysis, threatened everyone that it would only run nicely on a tiny fraction of systems - and then ranted about piracy for low sales. I guess the pirates must all have BOXX and Falcon Northwest and overpriced Alienware systems.

And then they pulled a Metallica by not only whining but getting less than great reviews on the game.

Far Cry 2 will probably be cool, though I long for the day developers will tire of the brown and gray pallet.
