E3 2008: Wii Music Trailer is Exactly What I Thought It Would Be

Wii Music E3 2008 Trailer

I need my own psychic hotline, that or Nintendo has become way to predictable of late. Either way, here is the E3 trailer for Wii Music which I posted about earlier. You will hear familiar Nintendo theme songs (esp Mario) in the trailer, but Yankee Doodle? Alrighty then.

I can see how you would use the Wiimote to simulate guitar, horns, drums, a sitar and the like, but I am very curious about how to work the piano. Anyway, watch the video for yourself. The guys should have more information concerning the game sometime this evening.

All you do is shake it in time to the music and it plays the right notes for you. Its basically like Guitar Hero or Rock Band for complete retards. There is so little involvement or skill needed that its description as a game should be under question.

I actually sat through the whole of Nintendo’s conference and it was truly appalling. Hilariously appalling

The bit where they were on stage playing Wii Music was quite unbelievable

You can watch the whole thing here and I advise everyone to do so because it is without a doubt the presentation in the history of E3

(click on ‘press conferences’ then ‘Nintendo E3 2008 Media Briefing’ and skip to 55 mins if you just want the Wii Music awesomeness)
