July 14th, 2008 at 1:44 pm
They're not "random" people jackass. They're great members of other bands that axl recruited. Bumblefoot, Brain from Primus (replaced by Frank Ferer temporarily) Robin Finck from NIN (no one knows if he left for good)
July 14th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
@ Dadud
I graduated from high school in 1996 with Robin Fink's younger sister Jamie.

"Dream Theater “Panic Attack”"
Sigh. Way to go, Harmonix. Choose Panic Attack over something like Ytse Jam (true, i can see why ytse isn't in RB. no vocals. maybe GH) or As I Am or Glass Prison.
John Petrucci for guitars, Mike Portnoy for drums, John Myung for bass, and James LaBrie for vocals. I don't see how they could possibly be lacking good, difficult songs for RB or GH.
Personally, I think that GH should have DLC from Suspended Animation, John Petrucci's 1st solo album. Glasgow Kiss would be amazing to play.

@dadud
One .. Watch your god damn mouth you 10 year old idiot.
Two .. It IS random people from diffrent bands .. Its not going to be like the old gnr which were an amazing band.
Three .. As stated above watch your mouth, dont flame bait, use some sense .. Tell me there not random and tell me any of them would be able to make a true song like guns n roses could.
July 14th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
Wow there's some real sweetness in here. Now I know why most of the DLC is kind of hohum. They really know how to make you wait for the songs you REALLY want.
July 14th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
First off, im not a 10 year old idiot, im a 16 year old.
Second off. I don't consider respectable band members "random people", you sir are a fucktard for thinking so.
July 14th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
Act your age not your extra large shoe size then.
July 14th, 2008 at 3:20 pm

Go Marlins!!!!
July 14th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
New GnR? How about anything from Appetite, specifically Paradise City?
July 14th, 2008 at 5:44 pm
Hey, you first. I'm not the one that started this. You are for calling the great band members that make up nuGNR "random people"
July 14th, 2008 at 5:58 pm
What? No Children of Bodom? Nightwish? Opeth?
Hah! I should be thankful a Dream Theater track actually made it on there. I can hear the fail @ expert bitching already.
July 15th, 2008 at 3:02 am
@Dadud .. You started it by retailiating at my opinion .. notice the word .. say it with me now on 3 .. 1 … 2 … 3 … opinion …
@steve
Name a nightwish song thatd work?
And CoB wouldn't really be that great …
Altho planet hell would be fun. >.<
July 15th, 2008 at 3:43 am
@ Steve: I agree on the Opeth front, Godheads Lament or The Drapery Falls ftw
July 17th, 2008 at 12:44 am
Is there anyway we can get some Children Of Bodom Download packs? or maybe they can be some bonus songs? PPPPPPPLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEE! the first rock band was focust more twoards classic rock. can we have some more modern stuff please. like Children of Bodom, Trivium, Creed, Alter Bridge. etc…..
July 19th, 2008 at 6:43 pm
I'll buy it just for the single Jethro Tull song…there's some good stuff there but…meh.
July 22nd, 2008 at 9:23 am
Well, it's definitely a pleasure to get Rage Against the Machine on there, finally.
Looking through the list, there's definitely a bigger focus on classic rock, from what I'm seeing, but - damn - so many "teeny bopper" bands. AFI? Jimmy Eat World? Linkin Park? Panic at the Disco? Guess this goes back to the old "Has all your favorite bands… and Fallout Boy!" line from the original Rock Band. Any thoughts?
A shame that so many other classics are missing, a few of which were already mentioned, but it's most likely a license problem. Perhaps we can expect them as DLC? Here's hoping.
July 25th, 2008 at 7:36 pm
Jimmy eat world is hardly a teeny bopper band there songs have much more meaning then afi or linkin park or panic
July 29th, 2008 at 6:10 am
Ignorance of music runs rampant in todays society.
July 30th, 2008 at 10:02 pm
@ Sean
ok dumbass for one thing, you can't say that 1 song has more meaning than another cuz you didn't write it, did you fucko?? i didn't think so. You have no idea what made Davey Havok, or Mike Shinoda write what they wrote. The Man was right about ignorance. Fuck all you faggots who say you hate certain bands, i'd like to hear the kind of music you would make. INCONSIDERATE BANDWAGON JUMPING CUNTS
July 30th, 2008 at 10:03 pm
but ya this songlist should be entertaining
August 3rd, 2008 at 12:32 am
@Slick. If you listen to lyrics of a song… you would understand the meaning of the song. If you CANT understand the meaning of the song then the lyrics simply aren't good. The song on the other case may be incredibly catchy and well worth listening to for that purpose. One of these songs is Nine in the Afternoon.
As for your constant swearing and useless flaming at a guy that didn't do anything wrong-
Just shut up. seriously… don't post for a few more years. At least wait till your voice deepens… Jesus. A "Bandwagon jumping cunt"? Really? What bandwagon did they jump off? Do you even understand the meaning of that phrase? Apparently you don't…
And just for the record, I love panic at the disco. Saw them live last month. Drove 3 and a half hours to get there… Me and my girlfriend went to see them cause be both like them. I understand that you are trying to back up Linkin Park and Panic from Sean (who thinks Jimmy Eat World has meaningful lyrics… lol. No he doesnt. "It just takes some time little girl, in the middle of the ride over and over. Everything will be just fine over and over? What in the hell does that mean? But again, i like the song because its catchy), but you are completely missing the point of what makes music good.
For a band like Death Cab for Cutie, they need both catchy-ness and their amazing lyrics simply because of their standards in the world - whereas Linkin Park can just scream about something crawling in his skin as his words wont heal. Again - Catchy, but what does it mean?
Whatever, You probably wont even read this comment… Its too long for you anyway.
August 9th, 2008 at 2:27 am
Nice looking playlist =) guess me and my friend will be playing on it for a while aha.
And, Yay! Almost Easy is on there xD
August 27th, 2008 at 10:33 am
No Radiohead? Aw… I just wish they would put more radiohead songs DLC or not, I don't care…
