Overrated: Halo 3 and mass effect.
Reason: Halo 3 is the same thing new story line no big changes. The graphics are crap and after playing COD 4 you can see the difference. Mass effect i really cant say much because i hated it 15 minutes in. gave it a second chance and still hated it. nothing more to say.

BEST 360 GAME IS COD 4 I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY!! IT HAS AN AMAZING ONLINE PLAY AND IM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEW MAPS!

Maybe i was wrong for using profanity. But can you serously tell me that it isn’t most anticipated??? It had its own mountain dew for pete’s sake. Like i said even if halo 3 wasn’t the best there it easily should have been most anticipated. The reason I say some one took a pay off from ps3 there is because, think about how mad the sony fanboys would be if Halo 3 got it. That is your opinion about it not being the greatest shooter, but keep in mind it was the most anticipated game of all time. For example. I live in a small town that only has 10000 or less people and only a pamida and an alco. Those stores both had at least 10 or maybe even 15 copies of Halo 3 on it’s release date. NOW cod4 on the other hand just came to these stores a month after its release. Also note that only pamida has it and it only haS three. I think ps3 is a great system I just do not think that it deserves all of the bs hype it gets. Halo 3 is undoubtedly statistically the most anticipated game ever.

@ Jason: Thanks for coming back to read some of the older stuff. One thing to keep in mind is that as far as a presence at E3, Halo 3 was almost invisible. CoD4 was on the demo floor, and IW was actively showing it off. The only place I saw Halo 3 was at the MS press conference.

Also, it’s obvious you’re only looking for something to bash PS3 over. I see that you accuse G4 of taking payoff from PS3 to call this game most anticipated. Please realize that it’s also on the 360. Also, please realize that Halo 3 wasn’t as good as you think it was. It was a mediocre shooter, just like Halo 2. CoD4 is worth a 8.5 or 9 rating, while the best I could offer Halo 3 would be around 7.5. Sorry.

Your kidding right?? Granted COD4 is an awesome game and in some ways maybe even better than halo 3… IT STILL SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MOST ANTICIPATED GAME OF E3. There were shows on spike, vh1, news stories, and various other things about halo 3… what was there about COD4. They could have called it best game of e3, but no way in hell was it most anticipated. WOW you really have some balls not even putting your name. I CAN WRITE IN ALL CAPS TOO. LMAO there has never been a game that was as anticipated as HALO 3.

and isn’t spider-man 3 one of the highest grossing films ever? just because you make a shit ton of cash on something doesn’t mean its good, or bad for that matter, it means your marketing team knows how the fuck to do their job and get people hyped for it properly.

Gears does look hella good tho, cant wait for the pc release

How can ueven compare anything on the ps3 to the xbox 360 or wi? ps3 forces you to buy a glorfied hd dvd player with a crappy ass game system. To all u fans of the ps3 who claim it has such gr8 graphics compare anything off of the ps3 to GEARS OF WAR! NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE. I am very disappointed in g4 for that

I hate it now when games are marked for “PS3, 360 and PC” as it means my PC clearly won’t be able to run it. Dang! Gotta admit, from all that was shown, CoD4 clearly blew people out of the water and I’d be lying if I said it did nothing for me.

This will be a must-have, definitely.
