Dynasty Warriors 6 – Screens to Pacify Fans Until 2008

Coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the early part of 2008 is Dynasty Warriors 6 from Koei. The massive battlefield simulator/action game has the usual updates, including all new weapons and the gameplay formula has been changed significantly. Players will be able to make their character swim, climb, and destroy walls, including the ability to pull off “unlimited combos” with the use of the new “renbu” system. All 48 playable characters from Dynasty Warriors 5 are expected to return, and 17 characters have been announced with new character and weapon designs. Although who the new playable characters are have yet to be announced, there is always some sort surprise up Koei and Omega Force’s sleeves when it comes to Dynasty Warriors.
This was released in Japan 2 weeks ago so if anyone has a PS3 (and can speak Japanese) they can import it.
The PS3 version has sold 258,983 copies since launch with the 360 version selling 35,692.

This franchise has always had a solid foundation for game play. I hope they took the time to (focus on solid co-op online gameplay against a powerful A.I.).
Belive it or not most gamers these days, wanna be apart of T.A.S.T.(tactical action squadbased team). You guys at koei have a chance to not only enter but create a whole game genre and style of game play. Theres so much more you can do with your platform.
PS. We need more options, settings and features when it comes to creating our generals and body guards. Lastly could it hurt to create our own dynasty to face they others…
