Japanese demo is already up. Took some fiddling around with setting up the controls, but didn't have any other trouble getting it up and running.

And I have to agree with Mikouen. Played the demo and found myself doing nothing but mashing the normal attack button the whole time. Hopefully DW7 will be better.

It's almost a tradition by now that KOEI give only the bare minimum game content to other platforms. The fact that the 360 got DW5:Empires is a miracle as it is.

I don't hold high hopes for the PC version of DW6 being even half as expansive as the PS2, while it's probably going to be at least 25% more expensive. Precedent dictates that'll be the case, and all you get for your money are higher-resolution textures and lower framerates. :???:

Of course, that's not even touching on the issues with DW6 itself, which is a step backwards from the other games in the way of the actual combat.

But then, hopefully KOEI are just going through an experimental phase and come DW7, we'll lose the mindlessly bland just-mash-one-button combat style that is DW6 and be back to the older combo system, which at least had some depth to it as far as picking the right combo for the right scenario and being careful not to leave yourself open (something which doesn't seem to occur in DW6 as you can attack in an infinite chain without any cooldown).
