Dungeon Siege Movie Trailer – Proof That Ray Liotta’s Career is in the Toilet

What do you get when you cross a popular video game with an insane movie director – and throw in some actors who are more than willing to compromise their image for the sake of a paycheck? You get the new Dungeon Siege movie directed by our favorite whipping boy Uwe Boll – starring: Burt Reynolds, Claire Forlani, Ray Liotta, Jason Statham, John Rhys-Davies, Leelee Sobieski, Kristanna Loken, and Ron Perlman.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale tells the tale of a man called Farmer (Statham) who sets out to rescue his kidnapped wife (Forlani) and avenge the death of his son. These two acts were committed by the Krugs, a race of animal-warriors who are controlled by the evil Gallian (Liotta). Sorry, my uncontrollable laughter is making it almost impossible to type any of this.

This new fallacy from Uwe Boll utterly amazes me. After so many flops, he is either:

A) Independently wealthy enough to piss all of his money away
B) Has some great blackmail material on some studio exec
C) Sleeping with someone who is an important studio exec
D) All of the Above

Any time I see a picture of Uwe Boll or hear about him making a new movie, it makes me want to punch someone in the neck. Usually I save that amount of ire for John Madden, but this guy just blows my mind. I am surprised Germany has not banned him along with Scientology. At any rate, the movie will be stinking up theaters come December – in the meantime, watch the trailer and play the Dungeon Siege game for PC instead of wasting your money on watching another crap movie based upon a game.

Watch this movie be absolutely huge, and Uwe become a respected director. Maybe in Bizzaro World.
