Duke Nukem Forever Screen…That’s Right: One, Single, Blurry Image

The forums for 3D Realms have been swarming with people wanting to get a look at a new image from the long-delayed Duke Nukem Forever. The screenshot is apparently a scan from the recent issue of Game Informer magazine. The developer has confirmed the screen to be legitimate. So what’s it show? Well…um, hmm…I have no idea. There’s some electricity and some red stuff and…walls.
Man, I’ve been hearing about this game for so long it’s hard to even get excited anymore. At this point they’d have to release a feature-length trailer of gameplay footage interspliced with shots of Kristin Bell dancing in a Slave Leia outfit to even pique my interest.
I hope DNF turns out to be a really old VGA side scroller continuation of the original duke series.
