Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors

Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors for the Wii on February 26 of next year. This newest installment of the series will fully utilize the Wii’s motion sensing capabilities by having you attack, block, and use special skills with just a swish of the Wii-mote. The story is your typical RPG tale: monsters have taken over your home, and you must fight your way to the source of it. The franchise as a whole has shipped more than 43 million units worldwide. This new installment will also include new features for the North American release, including four hidden bosses and a new “Payback Mode.”

I sure hope this game lives up to expectation because we have been waiting for it’s release for years. Maybe FF has it right by releasing a new one every year. We shall see if it will pay off.
