The guys/gals over at Petroglyph Games are truly getting into the spirit of the holiday. Over at Petroglyph’s official forums, a download link has been provided for the entire soundtrack of their recently released sci-fi themed RTS, Universe at War: Earth Assault. A note to the community from the soundtrack’s composer was also attached:
I hope you enjoy listening to this soundtrack as much as I enjoyed creating it for Universe At War: Earth Assault. Nothing is more gratifying to me then to see it completely integrated into the rest of team’s hard work on this title, in the name of creating a fun experience for everyone. This game is definitely the most unique rts I have worked on to date and I’m proud to be a part of it on all audio fronts. Thanks to all of the community – Keep rockin’!

That’s three whole CDs worth of music for free, folks. If that’s not generous, I don’t know what is. Kudos to Petroglyph for giving back to the community at such perfect timing.

Is it just me or is the site down?
“Is it just me or is the site down?”
The site is down probably due to high demand for the download.
You’d think that Steve or some other idiot at FileFront would have had enough sense to mirror this soundtrack download especially given that is the main thing FileFront does.
Here’s a working download link to the soundtrack:
