Alright it’s crafts time, people. Get out your glue sticks, your cardboard, and your markers; this is elementary school all over again, everyone. Over at The Wii Cast, there’s a detailed guide on how to make your own clock that looks like the first level from Super Mario Bros., although I’m sure with a little imagination, you can create your own game scenarios.
Fun Fact: Did you know that the original NES Super Mario Bros. game was originally meant only as a time telling device? Initially you just had to hit the A button and the correct time would flash. Then Nintendo decided to slap together a game to put at the beginning of it. If you want to find out what time it is in Super Mario Bros. now, it’s as simple as completing the entire game without using any warp pipes, collecting 99 lives, killing yourself 98 times by running straight into Bowser, and then just killing Bowser with fireballs. Go on! Give it a try!
