Dealing with
GameStop and EBGames is always a hassle. The employees are not trained very well and focus on trying to get you to pre-order more stuff.Most of the time my store oversells on the pre-orders and is always short on stock.I now just pre-order all my games from Best Buy and wait the extra day or two rather than deal with the incompetence of the employees at the Staten Island stores, the EBGames in the mall has fallen apart since they promoted the staff to clean up another store.

Every time someone tries to imitate Yahtzee he just falls flat on his face. I don’t think the man’s God or anything but all these videos inspired by him are flat, lifeless drek.

You know, I worked at a Gamestop for awhile, it was amazingly fun, and it was a great insight into human nature, which is, indeed, stupid.

It’s amazing how many people think to themselves, that person behind the desk, he just told me how this works, so it must work like a charm! I’ll take it.

I have a saying… “People are stupid.”

People trade in games and buy games from GameStop because it’s convenient. It’s the same reason they will buy something off eBay for 20% more than they could have paid buying from Amazon or buy.com. Our society has become one of instant gratification (which is why we have a credit crisis, btw). As Ron White says, “You can’t fix stupid.” Trying to educate pinhead consumers who can’t wait a week to get their game is a losing proposition.
