Yes, my Wii is always connected to the internet. If your Wii is in standby and the power light is orange, its connected. If its on red, its not. I get updates every once in a while about new stages for brawl.

Sometimes I wake up at 3am because the LED is so bright, but yeah, I get stuff often. It&#039;s usually messages from my friends, but sometimes it&#039;s messages from Nintendo telling me there&#039;s a new channel or update.
