Defend Your Castle Coming to WiiWare with Updated

Ever played the flash game, Defend Your Castle (if not, you can check it out here)? It was one of those usual “defend and upgrade your base while enemies try to attack it” types of flash games, but with a bizarre twist: the main way you killed your enemies was by lifting them high up in the air and letting them splatter on the ground. Simple? Yes. Addictive? Dear God, yes. And now it appears that XGen Studios is looking to release an entirely new version of the game through WiiWare. They’ve actually built this new game from the ground up to give it some new enemies, defenses, and a co-op mode. The most striking change though seems to be the visuals. The flash game featured incredibly basic animations and graphics (it all looked like it was drawn in MS Paint). Now they’ve given it a cardboard cut-out look and made the whole thing look like it was built using random objects found in the trash. As always though, the game never ends; it just keeps getting tougher and tougher until you die. We’ll have to see how this all turns out when it hits WiiWare on May 12th.

I see Zapak.com has been expanding a lot, lately.
I was a total addict at Indiagames until Zapak came.
The range and quality of games available at Zapak is just mindblowing.And to top it all, they now support it with offline events like Gameplexes.
What I discoverd was that you can even embed their games as widgets in your blog. I tested one.
