Dead Space Demo Now on Xbox Live

If you have not played Dead Space yet, or have been undecided about it, now is your chance to play a demo of the game on Xbox Live–which Shawn told you about yesterday. Granted, it is rather silly of a game company to release a demo of a game after it has been out for a while, but at least now gamers who have not gotten their hands on it can get a taste.

The demo is expected to hit the PlayStation Network and the PC as well, so log into to your PSN account and see if you can get it yet. PC users, stay tuned for more information, as I am sure we will know more about the how’s and where’s a bit later on in the day.

(Thanks Major Nelson)

    The demo is not coming to PC, I checked with EA yesterday. You might want to edit that.

  2. Shawn Sines says:

    Yeah, EA says they have no plans to release the demo for PC but Stephany couched that in the original piece using the information she had at hand at the time.

    From The Escapist: “Sorry, PC gamers: Jino Talens of EA says the publisher has no plans to release the demo on PC.”

    Dead Space is really REALLY good. I enjoyed it immensely. It reminds me a lot of Doom 3. Only you don’t have to worry about switching between your weapon and the damn flashlight.

    I played through it twice…I rarely do that. Usually once I beat a game I am done with it unless there is some kickass multiplayer attached to it.

    This demo is well worth the download….even if you only have a PS3 and have to wait for it to download and then wait for it to install….the 360 is the way to go because you don’t have to wait for the damn thing to install….just download.

    Go Marlins!!!!

    @ManofTeal,
    The 360 demo still installs, just completely in the background
    i agree with you though but I’m going to pun your last statemet

    Go Steph!!!!

    I know that last part of my comment was intended primarily for troll hunting….I’m bored at work today and I am looking for something to occupy my time….

    Go Marlins!!!!

  7. Sk8man says:

    Troll? I aint no troll, I’m like you, bored at work.

  8. ManOfTeal says:

    @Sk8man

    I wasn’t thinking about you when I went “troll hunting” it was kinda more directed at a certain Sony worshiping douchebag that we all know and can’t stand…..I’ll give you a hint….he named himself after one of the worst Eddie Murphy movies ever made.

    Go Marlins!!!!

    LOL ManOfTeal, LOL
    Good stuff right there, looks like he didn’t take the bait though.
    On topic(finally) I did download and play the Dead Space demo last night. I must say that I wasn’t impressed with the length of the demo, could have been longer but overall it seems like a good game.
