I keep going to these movies to show support for the Video-Game movie genre, but I have such mixed feelings about it... I want to support hollywood or whoever-the-hell can do it, in making films based on video games... but at the same time I'm supporting the stupid way in which they go about doing it. I firmly believe that if these hack directors would stop trying to put their "artistic license" on something with which everyone is already comfortably familiar with, I think they'd start doing a little better. I don't care of Steven Spielberg or, I dunno... the guy who did Gladiator, etc... makes the movie, if they don't follow the already well-established story-line, faces, vehicles, etc., people won't be so dissapointed.
