Kids actually looking forward to gym? You bet! Dance Dance Revolution, a favorite arcade past time, is now hitting it in school gymnasiums every where. Kids are finally being encouraged to play video games. All across the country, DDR has become the latest weapon in the arsenal to combat childhood obesity. The program is being used in addition to and in place of more traditional competitive sports.

The series has paired catchy dance tunes with dance steps performed on a dance pad controller. Players of all ages and abilities can participate. The levels range from basic moves ranging to highly complex patterns that will challenge even the most athletic. Read the full article in The Detroit News.
