I enjoy reading the comments and the repetition of fanboy-dom that re-emerges every single bloody console generation. I’ve just got an X360 and am totally happy with it. I did not get Halo 3 simply because it didn’t impress me. No doubt the storyline and playability is stellar, but sometimes it just comes down to preference..so why fight?. I bought the x360 for the games and games (and was dissapointed in the whole media centre thing cos it really is quite pointless unless you really hook it up to a home theater far away from the computer; and oh you xbox live fans, damn ps3 players play for free.)the ps3 won’t get anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean the ps3 is rubbish. I’m looking forward to MGS4 and GT5 and FF13 and have since fallen for heavenly sword but it doesn’t make sense to get the machine at the moment simply because the 360 is so much cheaper and has similar games.I like the PS3 as a diversified media player that plays games, whereas the x360 gives me access to DMC4 and DiRT for almost 1/2 the price, when you consider that the hardware is similar (kojima did say mgs4 was possible on the 360).Now, why do we always have to fight? Get a ps3 if you like the exclusives and have the money. Get an x360 for the same reason. Don’t bash halo 3 simply because whatever system you just bought will have a similar cash-cow that others will love to bash. And while all you x360-ps3 fanboys are fighting it out, the damn wii with it’s rubbish gc graphics is overtaking us all in sales worldwide. You’d think there was one console generation where everyone just plays want they wanted to play, and not just try to prove that what they own is superior.

Well to answer one question of ‘the truth’(although he should change his name to the_false )- what happened to all the noise after the release of halo3- hell all of us were fragging each other to even care about what was happening. And regarding the architecture of the PS3 and Xbox360- the full potential of the XBOX360 is yet to be tapped. And on the issue of blu-ray movies: that is just a cheap rip off,i can just wait for the movies to come on TV before they come on BR(just another way sony finds to rip people off).ANYWAY HALO1 ROCKS , HALO2 SHAKES THE GROUND AND HALO3 issssssss aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

man dude i know exactly what the ps3 is capable of i know it has 8 cell procesors and one is used for the system and one is not being used at all your not the only one who reads books and itis a fine machine with alot more capabilities then the xbox but who gives a fuck calm down and enjoy the fucken games thats what the console are for arguing about witch one is better is stupid COD 4 is the best game around and you can play it on both console to bad its not possible to play online ps3 vrs. xbox but then again it could start ww3 cheers

LOL OMFG DUDE!! if that is happening to you, you got a fucked up connection man, it rarely happened to me but not “every 2 minutes” like you said. it was fixed last week like at 3 am and the problem was that there was too many people playing the game and caused some connection delays, but like I said it’s already fixed, and as for the sales, plleeesaaase! the gaybox was out one year before the PS3 wich is why it has sold more but when you compare year by year both consoles the are the same(http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/10/19/ps3-sales-on-par-with-360-launches-aligned/4#comments) and that’s counting the 360 consoles people bought twice because of the malfunctions and one more thing, you know the marketing Microsoft makes to sale that thing right?? you see an Xbox logo everywhere you go even on movies, that’s crazy!! and that’s called fear!!!because the console can not sale by itself!! so..even with all that marketing they do, they still didn’t sale more than the PS3 the first year, they sold the same. now people is starting to know what the PS3 offers and the sales are coming up really fast thanks, all you hear about the PS3 on the web and the news is good things from games to advanced technology, breaking records thanks to the Cell and creating super computers by linking up to 5 PS3s at the same time in studies from Standford University to NASA.!! that there’s no games for PS3?? pure BS!! that it is hard to develope for it? pure BS!! that it is expensive??pure BS!! you would like to get a 46′HDTV for $800 right?? yeah we all want good things to be cheap! but many people still think that the PS3 is just another video game console like the 360, nooo..it is a next-gen console. And I say this because I own one and it looks to me like all you know about the PS3 is just the 10 percent of what it offers. The things that are to come for it are amazing!!besides the games!! would you like your 360 to turn on by just saying HELLO!? Start running your game by just saying the name of it!?? yeeah I know you do! would you like to operate your 360 from anywhere in the world using a PSP(or an “XBP”)? yeah I know you do! and there is more, like HOME!! and more….

so.. what is there for the future of Xbox? Gears Of War 2??lol…..seriously man, get some information. search the web and get things straight. There is a knew Xbox in the making right now to be released some time in dec 08 or early 09, and do you know what that’s called? FEAR!!FEAR!!FEAR!! FEAR OF SONY!!!!!!
Microsoft knows the 360 is no next-gen console and that they need sometthing better!!!!!!!

just look at the sales figures and weep just goes to show you what console people prefer and as goes for COD 4 lets see you try and play that online and not get your connection knocked off every 2 minutes I know cuase i tried it and this game was created for on-line play in the first place and last but not least i wouldnt be surprised if you did not have any console at all and are just a kid who wishes that he gets one for christmas but for now all you can do is wright rubbush on the net about it

lol..poor little tomasz, I bought Call Of Duty 4 last week, I’m picking up Assassin’s Creed tomorrow and Uncharted:Drake’s Fortune next week, and yes I’ve had lots of problems with my wife because I’m always playing too, but she just can’t deny the fact that the PS3 is just a very sexy and advanced machine(something your wife has never said about your ugly Gaybox, I can assure you that) so as you can see I also spend lots of money on games. AND..you can’t spend any dime on Blu-Ray because….YOU DON’T HAVE A BLU-RAY PLAYER!! NOT EVEN AN HD-DVD PLAYER (wich you would have to buy for $200 in order to watch movies on your Xbox)..and btw, can you play online using a Wi-fi connection??oh yes you can, for another $100!! dude your Gaybox sucks my PS3 balls really good man!!

me and my wife watch movies on it my wife calls it black beauty. hehe kids! , yeah I sit here playing Eye Of Judgment, Warhawk(addictive), Heavenly Sword(hard mode), Resistance(very addictive online multi-player, and it had the same scores as Halo 3 back then!) I still play Rainbow Six and Motorstorm sometimes,(not counting the ones I don’t play that much) I want to get Ratchet & Clank and Guitar Hero III but I have other games in mind first like Call Of Duty 4, Haze, and Uncharted:Drake’s Fortune this month, others to follow in December. and yeah..shiny is sexy! “Black Beauty’ my wife calls the PS3. Awesome!! and I’d rather look at my console thinking how shiny and pretty it is than thinking if the Red Ring Of Death will come ( a very sad situation for anyone who owns a 360). so, yeah..there’s more than the up-coming 2008 games.

well my console is also a Blu-Ray player (you would love to say this too, believe me) and my wife and I love watching movies and it does look better than the regular DVDs, we just got “Spiderman The Trilogy” and “The Hills Have Eyes 2 Unrated” on Blu-Ray last Saturday, We wouldn’t buy them if We could not afford them but we can, and like I said before, we love movies! and it’s not that I “NEEEEEEEEEEEED THE HARDLY NOTICABLE GRAPHICAL UPDATE THAT THE PS3 HAS FOR HUNDREDS OF DALLORS MORE”. I WANT IT !!!!!! and I get what I want as long as I can afford it!

I work in the video game industry for a retailer and i dont really see what support sony has in the future. Yeah you talk about exclusive games, but it comes down to consoles. If you make an “A” game on a console that has only sold a few units, you will only sell that many of the game. Yeah it will increase console sales, but that is a waiting game developers dont like to play. That is why a lot of exclusive sony games arent exclusive anymore. Also, if what we are hearing is true, a lot of the exclusive games you named for next year wont be exclusive. Their third party support is down, their sales are down. Even my boss, a staunch sony fan, thinks the future will be bleak. developers cant afford to make ps3 games.
