Coverage of Cyber Olympics Going for a “Human” Angle

It’s true, people in the United States just aren’t into watching people playing video games on TV. At least, not yet.
That’s why the International Cyber Marketing firm, in charge of covering this year’s World Cyber Games grand finale, is trying a different approach. Or, at least trying to focus more on the players instead of the games.
“The broadcasts are going to be happening on a very human level,” Michael Arzt, head of the ICM in the United States, said in a recent MSNBC article. “There will be gameplay involved, and you will know who won and lost … but it’s really about learning who the players are — and who are the people that are going to make e-sports grow in this country.”
If anyone has a favorite pro-gamer out there, give us a holler.

When are these dumbasses going to realize that the average American would rather fire up they’re console of choice and play rather than sit and watch someone else play.
