Contents of Mass Effect Collector’s Edition Revealed

BioWare and Microsoft have revealed the contents of the collector’s edition for their highly anticipated game, Mass Effect. In addition to the game itself, the limited collector’s edition will contain the following items:
- Fiction Book: Galactic Codex: Essentials
- Mass Effect Art Book: A Future Imagined
- 2nd DVD with exclusive videos about Mass Effect (Art of Mass Effect, Interactive Storytelling of Mass Effect)
No word yet on what the packaging for all this will be. This version and the regular one should be out on store shelves later in November.

Uh, not to rain on your parade or anything, but isn’t Mass Effect 2’s release date slated for sometime in the first quarter of next year? I’ve Google’d the hell out of release dates for ME2 and keep coming across Q1 2010. Please note, I live in the US, so this may not (and probably won’t) be true for other regions around the world.
