Conan Coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 (YES!!!!!)

Hither came Conan the Cimmerian…..

I am a huge Conan fan. I have read all of the novels, and comics – which for a female, is a surprising thing in itself. Here lately, with all the hype surrounding the Conan MMO, myself and a few others have felt a bit down in the dumps – being the very few people left on Earth who do not play MMOs. Finally, it looks like the Barbarian Gods are shinning down and you and I after all. Nihilistic and THQ has a Conan in development for the PS3 and 360 consoles. As usual though, there is no set release date, and considering that this news has been floating around for almost three months now and I am just hearing about it, I was so excited I had to post it anyway.

The game is reminiscent of the artwork created by Frank Frazetta, and Conan fans will be happy to know that his fighting style, attacks and womanizing will be true to character. FANTASTIC! The hack and slash element to the game should meld well with the artistic and adventurous feel of the game. They have even included the Camel-Punch from the movie Conan the Barbarian. Telling my age here, I watched that movie at a drive-in when I was around 10 years old. Anyone else remember drive-ins? Anyone even know what a drive-in is? Regardless, this should be an interesting take on everyone’s favorite barbarian.
