Commanders: Attack of the Genos Joining Discs of Tron on XBLA This Week

Not being a big fan of Tron, I wasn’t too excited to hear Discs of Tron was coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday as Jonathan informed us on Friday. Thankfully, Major Nelson brought word today that it isn’t the lone Arcade game of the week – Commanders: Attack of the Genos will be available as well.
Commanders (800 points or $10) is an “accessible turn-based tactical battle game” (i.e. a turn-based strategy game) with a 15 mission single-player campaign and 2-4 player multiplayer over Xbox Live. It sounds somewhat interesting; the only thing I can think of that’s even somewhat comparable to this on XBLA is Band of Bugs, and that had a significantly different vibe to it… what with the bugs and all.
