Codemasters Release Seven New Rise of the Argonauts Trailers

It always worries me when a gaming company releases a slew of videos for an upcoming game to garner interest. Usually, two or three videos would suffice – that way you are not giving away too much of the game. It’s no different than a movie trailer showing you all the best bits from the flick, causing your brain to deduce that there is no reason to see the film because you just have right then and there.
Case in point, Codemasters’ upcoming Rise of the Argonauts. It is lovely, has a decent premise to the game, and I have been hoping that it might actually turn out to be a pretty good game. However, today they sent us another seven trailers for the game, and that is on top of the many others we have received since it was announced last year.
Form whatever opinion you want on this subject, but I would personally be a bit skittish of a game with a dozen or more trailers made for it because it seems as if they are pushing it way too hard.
What is up with all these trailers? I mean, 1 or 2 sure, but 7? Wha?
I think the game looks fantastic and am happy we get to take a sneak peak at a lot of the characters appearing in the game. This game’s going to be coming out during a time when there is a lot of other great games.
