This isn't the original OFP development team that made OFP2. The original team was PO'd at Codemasters advertising of the game so they left them, but Codemasters owned the game Operation Flash Point, so they were able to do whatever they wanted with it. Don't go in with the expectation that this will follow in the foot steps of the 1st game, it's a development team put together by Codemasters.

Bohemia Interactive Studios, the original developer of OFP has the game out ArmA, and is in development of ArmA2.

I loved OFP, but the game was very un-intuitive and "clunky".

If Codemasters can clean up the interface/controls without losing the depth of gameplay, I'll be a very happy gamer.

I hope they don't screw it up.

OFP is still one of the best (and most modded) games EVER

True, but if they were actual gameplay screens, they would be described as such. I have to say, though, that usually you can pick a cut-scene screen out by how "pretty" it is, because no matter how great the graphics, there is going to be some bit of graininess or a bit of fuzz to them.

And if you want my opinion, the company that is the biggest culprit when it comes to cut-scene screens is Capcom - case in point: DMC4

Steph, I may be wrong but what I think "Me: was refering to was that these are probably "screenshots" pf a cut scene or opening movie, something of that nature, rather than actual gameplay. Which would not be unheard of in the industry.

The main gripe i had with OFP 1 was that it was more realistic than fun. Armed Assault was the same way. Hopfully without Bohemian involved it'll have a bit more on the fun scale rather than just realism.
