Codemasters Online has announced that the company will be holding a two day showcase to give consumers a first look at recent, unannounced, and upcoming titles. This new event, titled Codemasters Online Connect 2008, will be held at Omega Sektor, in Birmingham (UK).
Attendees will be able to take part in Q&As, round-table discussions and gain access to over 400 gaming PCs. Some of the titles expected to be on display include: The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, RF Online and Archlord.
“We are ecstatic to unveil plans on this amazing community orientated MMO gaming event,” commented Ed Relf, director of marketing for Codemasters Online.”Codemasters Online Connect 2008 is a milestone in the growth of Codemasters Online as a global gaming force and we can’t wait to welcome the many thousands of people from across all of our gaming communities,” he said.
Prices and ticket availability have yet to be announced, but COC 08 will be taking place on March 14 and 15. More details are sure to follow, so check back often for updates. I planned on going to the UK in May, but maybe I should change my plans to March – however, I should probably wait until more events are announced to see if it would be worth my while or not, plus it will not be as cold in May as in March. Hmmmm…. decisions, decisions.
