If you’ve fallen in love with Steam as I have, you’ll be happy to know that Codemasters is the latest company whose games will be added to Steam. Three of their recent releases, in addition to future games, will be available for purchase through Steam starting today. The three games include Clive Barker’s Jericho, Overlord, and DiRT. Future games, such as Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, will be made available on Steam day and date alongside the retail version.
I’m glad to hear this, because as much as I like getting a box and manual, I don’t have room for so much stuff anymore. Plus, Steam just makes it so convenient, it’s hard not to like unless you’re thoroughly opposed to digital distribution.

I’m not opposed to digital distribution, in fact, the method of so long as you have the key code, you can delete and replace off the net files, is fantastic…however I still prefer having the physical proof of my purchase. Maybe a bit more assurance that if something goes wrong, you can always start again with the disc.
That being said, I’m sure this is fantastic, but I’ve never bought anything off Steam. More precisely, the Orange Box and the Source games I’ve bought with the physical copies, something I think is unlikely to change for me.
I bought Episode 1 off of steam, and I like it. Although I hate steam for other reasons..
What, no Second Sight? Gah.
