A title like “Damnation” practically screams for attention, and luckily, this one may actually deserve some. Codemasters has announced they will be publishing the game from developer Blue Omega Entertainment for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. They’re billing the game as a “shooter gone vertical,” as it will feature sprawling open-world landscapes that will span miles of landscape up in the air as well as on the ground. Players will move about these environments using a variety of acrobatics and vehicle stunts. Basically, it sounds like the sort of game Just Cause tried to be.
So why do I think this game deserves some attention? Really it all has to do with the screenshot above, since it shows a girl shooting people while she rides a freakin’ motorcycle along the side of a building. I’m pretty sure that’s a gaming first. You can check out a few awesome screens for the game here.
