Co-Founder of Apple Engaged to Kathy Griffin? Good God No!

Kathy Griffin has given hope to loud mouthed, washed-up comediennes everywhere recently, by landing a multi-multi-millionaire by the name of Steve Wozniak, a.k.a. – the co-founder of Apple. According to US Magazine, Kathy and Steve were spotted at the Emmy’s last week, where she actually won an award (*collective eye roll*). Sporting not only a decent looking dress (even for her) she was also pushing around a cart to hold up her left hand due to the size of the rock it was sporting.According to our favorite tabloid, when Kathy was questioned about the ring, which is undoubtedly worth more than her soul, she stated that she doesn’t “kiss and tell.” Oh really? Well according to an interview she did with Larry King, Kathy revealed that her and Steve met in Saratoga when he came to see her perform. Which proves my theory that just because you are a gazilioniare does not mean you have good taste.

On King’s show, Kathy asked him: “What do you make, Lar? You make a few million a year? He craps that out for lunch. I mean this guy has so much money — but I love him for his personality.” Yeah, right, and I have lunch with Stan Lee on a regular basis. When King asked her to go into details on the relationship she quipped: “I like him in a boy-girl way.”

Whatever. My respect for Steve Wozniak has officially gone the way of the dinosaurs. It proves that geniuses have ZERO common sense, unlike her ex-husband who woke up sometime last year – smelled the rot coming from her and fled like a frightened elephant. Steve, honey, you are APPLE… you have enough money to get any woman in the world to look at you let alone spend time with you. I have seen hookers that look and act more sophisticated than Kathy Griffin. Being the computer genius that you are, I am sure you are well aware of the many online dating services available, hell, even Dr.Phil has one.

Run, Steve….. run for your life…..

  2. compscidude says:

She makes a joke about xians, and all of the sudden shes a horrible person? Lighten up, guys. This has gotten her the most publicity of her career, and stories like these only compound it. Good for her that she had the guts to give fundies a poke in the eye….

  3. Randomness says:

Isn’t this supposed to be gaming news? Not tabloid celebrity news. Stick to the games please, leave out the celebrity crap for other sites.

  4. somewhat says:

Well, I do see a link to Apple, so for me it can be linked to gaming news in a roundabout way, and lends a nice little change to the norm of ”another new character unveiled for the next big game !!!”.

  5. gangsta!! says:

    Hey!
    i like Kathy Griffin…

  6. Wouldn't you like to know? says:

    gangsta!!

    Please tell me you’re joking?

RE: Stephany. I for one think that if you feel the need to voice your opinions, You should know what you are talking about. For instance the following statement.
unlike her ex-husband who woke up sometime last year – smelled the rot coming from her and fled like a frightened elephant.

The ONLY waking up her ex-husband ever did was to wake up earlier in the mornings than Kathy G and take money from HER accounts. If you ask me SHE woke up. I couldn’t be more thrilled for Kathy G. IF in fact she and Steve W. are engaged. Altho I was thrilled to find out she won an Emmy this year. Some people should really learn to lighten up. Have YOU or any of you Kathy haters ever sold out Carnegie Hall?? Won an Emmy??

    Jealous Much??

  8. pikachu says:

Yes, we’re all jealous of Kathy, that pillar of awesomeness.

  9. Perpy12 says:

I dont even know who the hell she is so she cant be that famous.

  10. Jayson Barclay says:

I’m a bit concerned. Couldn’t the union of these two has-been stars cause a rip in the space-time continuum? There is also the possibility in String Theory that there is a dimension somewhere in existence where they don’t suck nearly as bad as they do here. What if a worm hole opened up connecting a rational universe like our own, where they totally suck and an alternate galaxy where everything is opposite and so they only suck a little bit. Could this create a black hole fueled by intense suckage? Could the union of these two destroy our own planet Earth? At the very least, “You end up with planets that leave the scene of the crime looking very different from when they came in–they can lose their atmosphere, crust, even the mantle, or they can be ripped apart into a family of smaller objects,” (Erik Asphaug).

  11. Peter says:

Well if youre going with String Theory, I’d rather end up in alternate universe where Kathy G didnt get into showbiz

  12. powderkeg says:

everyone needs to lighten up. kathy dishes it out so it only makes sense to give it right back. i get tired of going on sites and everyone who voices their opinion is slammed. i liked kathy in the past, but she has become a one trick pony who like ann coulter will say anything to get publicity. steve wozniak is just living off of his apple heritage and is a sad man. as far as this not being gaming news, i saw it on two other gaming sites and no one was taking up for kathy. if she can dish it she should also be able to take it and so should everyone else.

RE: JOHN “I for one think that if you feel the need to voice your opinions, You should know what you are talking about”.

The day I have to spend a Saturday researching Kathy Griffin or any other two-bit Hollywood celebrity is the day that I decide to jump in front of a moving semi-truck. Personally, I do not care why she divorced her fist husband. If he was stealing money from her, did you ever stop to consider what his side of the situation is? Maybe she was a controlling harpy who made his life miserable and it was his way of giving back what she doled out to him? No one knows exactly the day to day goings on in their lives or household. Only Kathy and her ex-husband.

“Some people should really learn to lighten up. Have YOU or any of you Kathy haters ever sold out Carnegie Hall?? Won an Emmy?? Jealous Much??”

Take your own advice John. Lighten up. No I have not won an Emmy, and I have never sold out Carnegie Hall, have you? I think not, and just because I have not does not mean that I cannot have an opinion on Kathy Griffin. Which makes me wonder – do you personally like every celebrity who has won a Hollywood award? I am sure that there are more than a few whom you detest as an “actor” or “actress” who has won a coveted award – so I am entitled to an opinion just as much as you are. Am I jealous? Not hardly. I have no reason to be jealous of her or anyone else who feels the compulsion to live in the lime light and make an ass of themselves. If you are a Kathy fanboy, fine. That is great I am happy you have found something you can enjoy.

Everyone else, if you like Kathy great! Nothing wrong with that. I am sure there are celebrities out there whom I like and that the rest of you would detest. That is the wonderful thing about being a human – you can like a variety of different cultures, entertainment, past-times, and as an American, have the right to enjoy whatever the hell you want to. I would also like to explain why I chose to provide the link to US WEEKLY instead of three different gaming/computer sites I saw the news of Kathy’s engagement on – because the rest were blurbs and all of them cited US WEEKLY – I went directly to the source.

So you see, John, I did do SOME research.

  14. License to ill says:

John you’re not that dude crying about Britney on u-tube are you?

  15. Feckineejit says:

that was catty… Why so harsh on Kathy Griffin? – I like her!

  16. Randomness says:

So, just because some other gaming site decided to become a temp tabloid site, you felt the urge to post this trash here? Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

  17. Stephany says:

Yeah. It really floated my boat. Out to nausea land.. but on a Saturday with no news, I figured it was funny. At least it was not on some insane Barbie Horse Parade game that no one even gives a rats behind about… and at least it got some comments, which is pretty good for a Saturday, with no HALO news.

  18. M.T. says:

:) Kathy is great! Who wants to be with someone boring like a Hoooooker who can behave,
    right! Why spent the money?

I think even a computer freak loves a good laugh.

And hey, you might think that she has also money …. what the heck a million or billion more,
    who cares!

  19. Jessica says:

Dude…i just started to watch Kathy on Bravo this year and…..
    I love it.
I know it takes a certain type of person to appreciate her humor, but thats why i love her.
She has some guts to put herself out there.
can any of u say that u would do this to get what u want????
    I doubt it.

  20. Stephany says:

To be honest with you, I was only saying exactly what she would have said in the same situation. Considering that, I think I was mild and tame to what she would have done to me in the same situation. Plus, she is no longer with him anyway.

Also, since I am being completely honest and for once not sarcastic, I watched her stand up rerun a while back on BRAVO and laughed my ass off. I also caught her on Graham Norton, and – again – laughed my ass off. I recently also saw a rerun of her show where she was recapping her hosting News Years Eve with Anderson Cooper and when she hosted the Producers Guild Awards. She was hilarious.
