CMP Announces PC-Centric Showcase

According to a report on Gamesindustry.biz, CMP the trade magazine publisher and event coordinator is planning a PC Game On, a PC focused industry dog-and-pony show that will allow computer manufacturers and game publishers a forum to display their wares.

“PC Game On celebrates PC gaming as the crucible of innovation in the industry, the place where most game developers get their start, and the driver of digital distribution, MMOs and virtual worlds,” commented Katherine Schoback, group director at CMP Game Group.

The event will take place September 8-9 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
