Clive Barker’s Jericho – Wicked New Screens

Clive Barker is one sick, twisted, and scary individual – and horror fans would not have him any other way. His newest project, Jericho, looks to be just as grotesque, horrifying, and suspenseful as his movies.
“A supernatural horror action game with a story devised by the master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker. Mingling the darkest elements of Barker’s horror fiction and films, Jericho deals with the mysterious reappearance of a lost city in a remote desert. When a form of evil that goes right back to the dawn of days resurfaces from there, a Special Forces squad, trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts, is sent in. Their mission: hunt down and destroy the evil that lurks at the heart of the city before it destroys humanity.”
Clive Barker’s Jericho is a FPS slated for a fall release on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Codemasters has provided us with some scary looking new screens and we have a few trailers as well. I am really looking forward to this game, and I hope it makes me sleep with the lights on at night.
Okay, the screenshots are creepy enough and the backgrounds look great. The trailer is definitely worth watching as it looks to be an exciting horror genre FPS. And let’s be honest, if you’re going to have someone create a world filled with nightmarish creatures, who better than Clive Barker to do it?
I approve of this. Nothing like a unique idea every once in awhile, especially one with good execution.
